They are indeed missing alot of the more advanced grinds, varials, and spins, but this is a pretty good intro for n00bs. [Sigh] I remember fondly the time when my only goal in life was to master the heelflip. Life made so much more sense. This would have been a nice site to have, then. Growing up sucks.

After three sprained ankles, I gave up on trying to nail a heelflip. It just wasn't meant to be. But I do long for the days when I had kickflips down.

I agree growing up sucks. I miss doing fastplants on vert (a la Chris Miller style).

all i had growing up was this to learn from. however, i did grow up three blocks from here, so at least a part of history was mine to bleed upon. not to sound bitter at all, but man it would've been nice to have resources like the videos in this post to see a trick from all angles. would've helped the wear n' tear on my dad's VCR as well.

I used to be a judge for the National Skateboarding Association (late 1980s). We always got booed for the scores we would give Steve Schneer, who did the ho-ho (but not much else).
