Wish they'd make a Towering Inferno one so we could watch bunnies on fire.

Methinks THAT would be a double post.

Yeah, I think these have been pretty good (especially the "Exorcist" one), but do we need a post for everyone one of these they make?

They should do "Platoon".

On Preview: was terrapin's double-entendre intended? It'd be more than a double-post, though, wouldn't it?

The truth is that MetaFilter is fast becoming a rabbit-obsessed concern with an ever-decreasing regard for kittens. Whereas (the few remaining) adorers of shockwave-animated felines are curious about lagamorphs, it appears bunny adoration is the growing trend on this board.

Yes. Yes we do. There can never be too many bunnies!

I'd like to see Night of the Lepus re-enacted by bunnies. Except this time the BUNNIES WIN!!!!

I like the bunnies. I wish they'd do French Connection and Chinatown.

These are so great, I hope they keep going forever. The Shining is still my favorite, though.

So what other movies do they need to re-enact? It's interesting that most of the movies are from the 70s. I'd like to see the Godfather Trilogy, maybe the original Star Wars.

True.

Bunnies are the new kittens, which were the new pirates, which were the new monkeys, which were the new babies, which were the new reactionary politics, which was the new Pepsi Blue, which was the new race hatred, which was the new black, which was the new punk rock, which was the new rap/metal religious music, which was the new modern lullaby, which was the next "Friends," which replaced te Rat Pack, which was the new hip, which took over for natural selection, which was the new hey-let's-get-naked, which was the new can-I-touch-your-weasel, which was all abot the new cable, which is the new UHF, which was the new VHF, which went out the last time bunny ear antennas were all the rage.

Circle of life, people. Circle of freakin' life.

I'd like to see the bunnies do Raiders of the Lost Ark

I want to see Fahrenheit 9/11 in 30 seconds re-enacted by bunnies.

I'd like to see Gone In 60 Seconds in 30 seconds, because it would be a better movie that way.

"Bunnies" is an offensive and derogatory label used by those who claim to be higher up on the food chain. To be politically correct, you should really refer to Leporidae as "Rabbit-Americans." Thank you.

Did you think that just because no one has done a "politically correct/foo-americans" joke since 1996, it was new again?

Now you've offended time-space-continuum-lagged Americans, Curley.

Bastard.

Has anyone ever done the first 20 minutes of Saving Private Ryan with bunnies?

I'd like to see a confused bunny turning around, bending over, and picking up a rabbit foot keychain.

Well, with "Platton", I had in mind a bunny on his knees, arms out to the sides in a crucifixion pose, bullet wounds appearing on his cute bunny chest, while Barber's "Adagio" plays on the soundtrack. Because that? Would be so cool.

In fact, I think Oliver Stone himself should be replaced by a giant bunny.

One of the voices in this cartoon is Bryan Singer, director of The Usual Suspects and the X-Men films. He's a big fan of Jaws -- his production company (Bad Hat Harry) is named after a quote from the film.

If you've ever heard him on a commentary or whatever, you might recognise him. He's got kind of a soft, husky voice. I think he's doing Brody ("Smile, you son of a...").

You're just over twenty-four years too late. It was done by the Goodies, episode 67: "Animals", first televised on February 11th 1980.
