We don't pretend to be experts on all religions, but we can certainly point you to quite a few places in the Holy Bible where other Gods are mentioned by name. Why else would the Lord say "Thou shalt have no other Gods but me?" The bottom line: Godchecker is a mythology site. Not a religious site. I'm confused... What's the difference again?

Not a lot of in-depth research in the Egyptian section. There are some common misconceptions repeated and some of the "also known as"'s are questionable. But really no worse that I've come to expect from teh intarweb.

Geez, EB et al... check their FAQ: 5) Where are the missing Gods? We have thousands of Gods in our Holy Database, but they're not all online. We're working through them as quickly as we can, but does anybody listen? We cannot instantly produce pantheons to order and illustrations by next Tuesday. We are as frustrated as you!

Not necessarily, since there are many defunct gods from that area, which are what mythology is, right? I think it's revealing that they are staying away from those gods, since the connection between them and GOD proves the line between mythology and religion is a lot more blurry (or non-existent) than they claim.
