The Savage Cabbit

Sure... the liger has been getting all the cross-species press lately (with the jackalope getting a close second), but what about the growing menace of the cabbit?

My girlfriend's family has six cats (definition of insane: anybody who owns one more cat than you), and one of them is a horribly inbred retarded cat, rescued from a crazy old lady that has hundreds of cats living on her farm, all descended from no more than a half dozen. This cat has tiny little front legs and really long back legs, on which she often walks on the knee. If she walks upright, her whole body slants strongly forward. She can walk, but often falls right over. If she wants to move quickly, she's been known to hop about like a rabbit.

God, I hate cats.

A liger. It's pretty much my favorite animal.

I this Sarah Hartwell. This Sarah well is to . And Lookee! ...she even has a Messybeast Cat Resource Archive with information on cat care, welfare, behaviour, etc.

This is for me the best of the web. No, really.

HERE are some related weird beasties.

...and another shot of the elusive cabbit:

That's not a liger. This is a liger.

Thank goodness Ligers can't turn into spaceships.

(Only took 4 posts to get Ryo-Ohki mentioned. Off to a great start!)

Definitely Ryo-Ohki! I just saw Magical Girl Pretty Sammy, and all I can say is "Pipopa!"

Why be a cabbit when you could be a rabbat?
