When I was in college in the 70's, UC was the cheapest beer you could buy. It only came by the case and was actually cheaper than the "generic" beer that was around at the time. Vile stuff, but you couldn't beat the price. Amazingly, the brewery turned itself around and now brews Saranac beers. [Flash] They're doing well for a regional brewery.
