The original bicycle has been around for 200 years. Don't you think it is time for a change !

Yes, as people get fatter it's only fitting that bikes get wider.

An interesting take on another kind of sideways bike that let a rider swing the back end around to the side. The chain system and headset and everything else could swivel, it was like being drunk while sober.

Quite fun to ride over a short post with the front wheel on one side and the back wheel on the other.

In fact, it was kind of like this Swing Bike.

How in the hell does that drive train work? It looks like it's somehow built to swivel with the rest of the 'back' headset somehow...

Y'know, I never thought about it really all that much before, but yeah, it sure as hell is.

This is the beginning of our slow but certain evolution into crabs. Great bald, bicycle-riding, monkey-crabs.

I've seen this guy riding the straight ahead #2 around the MIT campus. It's a neat looking contraption, but I don't really think that "the audience for this bike would be teenagers to young adults."

Since Clockwork mentions it, I saw the bike in Paris, near the Place de Clichy. It (I think it was similar to "straight ahead #2") was wiggling by on the crowded sidewalk and I barely had time to notice the URL.
