Anyone know the URL of the site in this article? It's an interesting (if misguided) opinion piece about a database that lets you look up campaign donors by zip code. Only he never gets around to giving you the address. posted by smackfu (5 comments total)
Well, I know of the site, but I can't recall the URL off-hand...
If I find it, I will post it. It is an interesting site. I was able to look up all my friends and Father's friends and see if and what they had contributed to who. I was surprised by a few of them.
Otherwise, here is another Database for Contributions:

the site you're looking for is http:\\www.votenet.com. it used to have a place to enter zip codes on the main page but it seems to be gone. too bad it was really cool. it showed scans of handwritten docs with names, addresses, and the amounts of the contributions. posted by someguy00 at 5:51 AM on October 5, 2000
