Bush and Kerry Hit Road, Trade Blows on Jobs I can only guess that someone at Reuters has a sense of humor.

Since changed to: Bush and Kerry Trade Jabs on Campaign Trail

Which makes it sound like they are arguing about the trail itself. whatever.

Oh now I get it.

The "trading blows on jobs" phrase in the article, but it's not the actual headline. Was it changed? Maybe someone at Reuters caught on faster than I did.

Real link here?

Yes, that was the actual title of the article for a short while. I didn't know they changed it until I read ChasFile's post.

No wonder Steve's been out of the limelight during the new iMac's unveiling.

At first I read it as:
Bush and Kerry Hit Road, Trade Blow Jobs

I'd bet there is no news organization in the world, no matter how journalistically responsible, that doesn't have some copy editor trying to sneak one of these multi-entendre headlines in every once in a while.

Breaks up the monotony of your day, and wen it's done properly, only the people who find it funny will even get it.

We are merely exchanging long protein

Wait, what does Steve have to do with anything?

Oh, that's great. So the thread stays, even though it's a complete and utter piece of shit, but my first comment, "trade isn't the only thing that blows," is deleted. That makes a lot of sense. Thanks, mathowie. Mustn't let the masses see that this was called out from the very first comment or anything.

Uh, oh yeah, my insightful comment was deleted by mathowie, too, and replaced with a snotty one. And then, this comment was tacked on the end, as though to discredit soyjoy!

Matt, please! Just let me be! All I want to do is post! *sob*

It's a conspiracy, I tells ya!

No, really, I'm in a much more lucid mood than I was last night when I posted that, but still. The FPP remains hilariously worthless - it was a single link to a headline that didn't exist by the time of the second comment - and yet, while Matt can't be bothered to delete the thread, he can go in and cherry-pick the comments? WTF?

Anyway, back to the topic at hand, I am all in favor of Bush and Kerry trading blow jobs. That is all.
