I watched it on the BBC from my aunt&apos;s house in Lancashire.  Didn&apos;t know about him or the Proms before then. Favorably impressed. Bought some CDs. Included some of his music in our wedding. 

Still didn&apos;t know a damned thing about him personally though. Thanks for this.

I&apos;d second a recommendation of his work.</description>
