I live only a short distance from his old Holloway recording studio / flat and always have to have a look whenever I pass. The idea that Johnny Remember Me was recorded there just blows me away. If you're new to Meek then you should check out John Repsch's book and this fantastic compilation.

I love Joe Meek too! I did a short video piece that involved Joe Meek and Violet Shenton (the woman [his landlord] he shot before shooting himself) a couple years ago. I need to get a recording of "Have I the Right?" at some point.
