The British Library is putting online 93 high-resolution digitised copies of 21 of Shakespeare's plays. They include many lines and passages that are different from those found in the First Folio editions, which were not printed until after Shakespeare's death. BBC article.

Are we sure this isn't a forgery done on Microsoft Word? The superscripts look identical to me. (Oops, wrong thread.)

Cool link.

You know, when I typed the first few lines of page one of folio one in my copy of Word, using the font "Old Claude", the line breaks and letter-spacing matched exactly.

This is probably bad news for Wm. Shakspur.

"I'll play the tyrant. I'll first begin with the maids and off with their heads!"

"The heads of the maids?"

"Aye, the heads of the maids, or their maidenheads, take it in what sense thou wilt."
