Movieoke- emote along with your favorite scenes from Casablanca, Taxi Driver, Grease and a bunch of others. All the classics except, inexplicably, A Few Good Men.

When I was a kid we just had Rocky Horror, now they got all the choices.
For some reason the first one I thought would be fun with a couple drunk people was the space battle from Star Wars.

How is this better than Kareoke? I'd imagine it about as annoying. If one could sing outside the shower, they'd have a recording contract. If one could act, they'd be on the DVD not mimicing it. And if God wanted us to fly he'd a given us airline tickets.

I had hoped by now MSTing films in a theater woulda caught on. Get three or four talented improv comedians together with mics, put them in the front row, and let them riff off the film as it plays. I've read about some attempts at this, but it never caught on. Figures. MSTing would create a new performance in response to the old, rather than just a blatant mimicry. To each his own.

Mr. Sinus Theater 3000 plays regularly in Austin at the Alamo Drafthouse, which also, coincidentally, occasionally has a movie-oke night.
