Tiny tiny words, old old movies, so so satire.

Roughly 10-15 years ago the late and lamented VAGUE magazine ran a similar comic, theirs about a bunch of rock journalists (headed by Tom Vague himself) on board a 73 bus heading north into Stoke Newington to interview Genesis P Orridge of Psychic TV. It was longer and funnier than this, particularly if you've ever lived in north London.

That someone would have the idea to do this is not surprising. But that they would go through with drawing it all out across so many pages is... um... interesting, at least. I think MAD could've gotten the same amount of humor in a 2-page spread. Still, ya gotta love obsessive weirdness!

This is great - I just saw Apocalpse Now for the first time this weekend, so how timely.

No, this is very funny.

I have been wondering lately though, why there hasn't been a similar Apocalypse Now parody, but with swift boats and John Kerry and such.

Kiwifilter: one of the best bands from Hamilton ever was called Hapuku Lips Now.

This is wonderful. In that vein, if you ever get a chance to see the cartoon/movie meld that made the rounds of weird parties and raves and whatnot a decade or so back...Apocalypse Pooh...
