Not with a whimper, but a bang... The Belgrade parliament is in flames. The State television building is broadcasting for Free Serbia. If you can get a stream, FreeB92 is the place to be listening. The revolution may not be televised, but this it has its own weblog

This is great. Here's a PERFECT example of how an election *should* go. The people have spoken. They have voted with their hearts and when the government ignores them, they speak out. None of this "I'm going to vote for Milosevic instead of Kostunica because he's going to win" crap.

I gotta disagree with your statement, bkdelong. The Serbian opposition has been so fractured, it's really impressive they rallied around Kostunica, precisely because he was the most electable.
