There are two schools of thought about how anyone could reelect an incompetent crackhead. WTF Mate? This group encompasses everyone who has never met Marion Barry. He is a slippery weasel, but I like him This group encompasses everyone who has met Marion Barry. He may have fucked up at everything that was within his power to effect, but he could still manage to convince plenty of brothers that he was helping them while doing it.

blasdelf, that is pretty funny. I met him a couple of times when I lived in DC and now I fit into the latter category, grudgingly. Still wouldn't vote for him, though!
