Front Design has some pretty bizarre art/products. Check the projects section to see tables, chairs, and lamp shades, among other things, made from the interaction of animals/insects/reptiles with the environment. {flash}

The design by section has items designed by gravity, pressure, sunlight, explosion, etc.

Very nice, dobbs. I also had a look at the "news" section, where you can see many of these items put together in a room display for a Milan exhibition. Fun.

[This is good]

I like the "high pressure" treated coffee table made from sticks and twigs, and the bark beetle etched pieces. I always liked how a fallen log with some intricate beetle beetle tracks looked, but could never think about how to really apply it to something. The CAD lampshade made from the motion-captured track of a fly is sweet, too.

loquacious' list pretty much summed it up for me.

The rat wallpaper was pretty weak, though. Technically cool, but decoratively not.
