IANACBG, but in the new Ultimates re-launch, they went through the whole "Wasp was married to Hank Pym until he beats her (though this time he just sicced a bunch of ants on her)," they divorce, and she ends up hooking up with Captain America. Now I must go wash all this nerd off.

On a vaguely related note, just in case you have not seen this webcomic*, 8-bit Theatre is similar, except has more of a "plot" and uses sprites from the FF series. *Perhaps you've been in a cave or very, very sad.

Fun! Now I must go wash all this nerd off. I'm currently scrubbing myself with a brush, as this reminded me that I actually own three of those action figures from a depressed buying spree I went on about ten years ago. Argh! This is of course reminiscent of "Twisted Mego Theater" (multiple episodes collected here, and geez! ...it's collected into a book and for sale on Amazon!) from Wizard's Toyfare Magazine. Here's a look inside the Toyfare office, where alla us geeks belong, or at least in a similar environment. See also: The Mego Museum. Google searching for Twisted Megos reveals more fun, like Twisted Headswap Theater (kinda fun!) and Herolix Theater (based on the roleplaying HeroClix games.) Action Figure Adventures (serious, not camp?!) teams characters like Goku and Worf and Majiin Buu and Transformers and ... well, you name it. I just found Gay GI Joe Theater and haven't read enough to comment ... it doesn't seem offensive so far, and you have to admit the moustachioed Joes belong in the Village People. There's really a lot of this around. The temptation to photo your figures and produce strips is great. This one definitely gets points for using the Swedish (BORK!) Chef. Anyway, here are some very cool professional production figures, released or unreleased. Check out the Namor and Kang sculpts commissioned by Toyfare, as well as the nifty Dr Hyde for Sideshow Toys, and of course the Jack Nicholson werewolf! (By collector/sculptor/customizer Scott.)

Hee. Most of the TMT links on the Geocities page are down, but the ones that are not are great! The Hulk taking a dump ("smashing one out") in Doom's jacuzzi is priceless. "Raagh! Hulk eat too much candy corn!" Makes me want to round up all my stikfas and bust out ye olde digital camera...

Oh my. I salivate for an army of Stikfas, probably mostly plain old military figures and the occasional ninja, or maybe just generic blister pack figures, but so far I've convinced myself that they're a bit pricey and I need to sell much of my plastuic menagerie before buying anything new. Stikfas are trés cool. Ultimately poseable, and they remind you of Xiao Xiao too, no? Some comics or animation with Stikfas would be too cool.
