Just Keeping Track

The Army are tagging honey bees to find UXBs. Now technology lets you silently locate mobile phones in the UK. Now you don't need to be 007 or Austin Powers to track someone. Is tagging offenders the soft option? How could someone already be watching you?

"...could someone already be watching you?" - I'm watching myself already, even as we speak. I can track my tiniest movements via my cell phone. It's really absorbing - I could just watch myself moving around watching myself all day!

I'm like, you know, my own Panopticon. I can watch myself, via newly emerging technologies, from all sides - and even from the inside out! I'll be due for a Colonoscopy soon. Blech.

[ Anyway - interesting thread, DrDoberman. ]

And the winner for the 2004 AVN Oscar for Colonoscopies is...

doberman: nice thread , links I didn't really like. I had the impression it's all a big conspiracy theory, while it's a serious issue. For instance I just noticed Joe lives in a poor neighborhood, have received poor education and got poor grades and watches reactionary tv all the time. Mhhhh...maybe if I send some enlisting officier....
