Oh My Stars-N-Garters! In addition to the Aardman Animations Wallace and Gromit films online here (previously MeFi-ed here), you can also view the Oscar and Academy Award winner Creature Comforts online! One of my all-time fave films. Joy!

It's a great film, but those gasoline commercials with the cars talking really ruined the concept, i think.

Argh, amberglow. Reality is such an electric jolt in the genitals.

Still, I ♥ ♥ ♥ Creature Comforts.

Excellent - I'd been meaning to look for that. I absolutely love Nick Park's stuff. Stupid chevron ads be damned!

In case this was not clear, Nick Park made those Chevron ads. Aardman Animation has done quite a lot of commercial work, much of it very clever, including pieces for the British Electric based on "Creature Comforts" and those Serta sheep. They also did Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" video. I had not realized that Aardman also produced "Rex the Runt". I'm also very curious about the studio's work for Biodiversity 911. Have any of you seen this?

Aren't the Oscar and Academy Award one and the same thing?

Heh! Hell if I know, bz. I pay no attention to them. You probably caught me in an embarrassing blunder!

Thanks Shane! I had seen bits of this but not the whole thing.

those Serta sheep.

hah! i suspected as much. those ads are pretty funny sometimes.

yes the academy awards and the oscars are the same thing. the statue they give away is nick-named oscar. shane that's a weird thing to not know even if you don't watch them (they are rather unbearable).

one of us mefites works at aardman animations, but i can't remember his name.
