And I muffed the Jalopnik link. These sites are only going to be as good as the bloggers Denton picks to run them, but so far I think he's demonstrated a good eye for talent (and Choire Sicha is now his aide-de-camp). In any case, the notion of running a kind of sustainable farming version of web business is interesting. And hopefully he is setting a precedent by finding his writers online.
