Why?Story talks about stupid dot-com ideas who are having trouble getting funding. But somehow this ugly site burns through $50,000/month. How? Why can't someone give me some of that cash?

Because you don't sell yourself at all well. e-Owillis who sells movie solutions with a goofy swirl gets 50k/month.

That splash screen sucks [eggs].

I looove the way they put images on the spash screen that ostensibly would take you to the next page once clicked. Nope, it just reloads the splash screen.

Bad, bad, bad. I'm with you, owillis. If I see any of that money I'll cut you in. Word.

Not exactly an inspiring slogan either. "The ultimate Internet movie place!" Place? Not exactly a phrase that sticks in your head-- not even your moviehead.

You gotta give it up to the guy for hustling every chance he gets. I'm sitting on my butt watching the market wash in and out, instead of polishing a turd of an idea and selling it for $50k a month.

Good on Mr. Nguyen. Civilization gets a step closer to its downfall, perhaps, but may he hustle until his capital dries up completely, or he strikes it rich, whichever.

The site is also rife with spelling errors and awkward grammar. I've got to wonder who would hand out VC cash to someone who overlooks such basic details. With $50,000 pouring through there every month, he can't even hire an English major to proofread his pages?

There have always been stupid business ideas that have placed themselves out there and failed miserably. The only difference with the internet is that they're not only available to the uninterested residents of Moosehead, WY, they're also available to everyone else in the world with an internet connection.
