Honk out the vote

Don't Honk and Wave, just Honk Hey so I had this idea--what if people in swing states drove around on election day through certain neighborhoods to honk out the vote. This would be driving and honking in a certain pattern. Now you might risk getting arrested for doing so, but if enough people did it, you wouldn't have to honk constantly to make people take notice. A bit like the ride of Paul Revere. Seems like depending on the areas you could drive out voters of different types. The key is making people make the connection and say "why are people honking--it's election day." Dunno, does anyone think this is a good idea? The Domain is available.

Also it might be more effective if you bought a programmable car horn and played a patriotic song, such as the "Star Spangled Banner" or something.

Speaking, probably for all mothers of small children, were this to happen in my neighborhood, my reaction would be thus: "if you idiots wake up my child one more time, I swear to God, I will come down there and smack you like I was Zsa Zsa and you were a cop. "

One way this idea favors democrats is that it's easier to drive in the blue area than the red area, as you can see from the map.

Also, nobody cares what people do in poor neighborhoods, if you honked your horn in a fancy neighborhood the cops would probably pull you over and pull a Rodney King on you.

A "honk and wave" in Miami is like farting in a pig pen. Most drivers are already honking like jackasses and making obscene gestures.

Gone postal on an ice cream truck lately? I can't imagine this behavior being any more annoying.

How about a wedding convoy. I live within spitting distance of a location where they like to take pictures and must admit I've been tempted. My daughter could probably sleep thru the second coming though.
