Faze? Are you still with us?

Some time ago Faze asked if it was legal to sell your vote. Apparently he wasn't the only one thinking of this.

Thank you, Steve@L, for bringing this particular masterpiece of idiocy to our attention! My jaw has dropped into the basement.

We're talking about the idiocy of someone trying to make a political statement by selling a vote on eBay, right?

Yes. That would be the idiocy in question. Also when the guy said "I didn't know it would be illegal".

The FPP is a masterpiece of finding crazy stuff on the internet, for which I applaud S@L.

"I bristled. All of us have family, men who fought in Iraq and other wars over this kind of thing. The idea of diluting somebody's right to vote is ridiculous," Bellamy said.

I really hope we win the war in Iraq, because I really want to vote this year.

And if we'd won the war in Vietnam, we might have even had a choice of decent candidates.

isn't Missouri solidly Republican? the guy doesn't even live in a swing State

Hey, you can always let the NAACP pay you in crack to fake voter registrations.

It's got tobe better than ebay.

I thought Missouri was pretty swingish. That might have changed, though. (Maybe I should pay more attention to the polls.)

Wait a minute, the NAACP didn't pay anybody in crack--some sub-sub-contractor on an NAACP sponsored project claimed to have paid someone in cocaine.

But it was much freepier the way you put it, after all, because you know those Colored People are all about the crack!

Our right to vote was bought by the blood of our veterans and it's priceless," prosecutor Page Bellamy said.

...as he shredded another handful of democratic registration cards.

Okay...I can't auction off my vote but as an undecided voter can I auction an hour of my time where I will listen as the winner attempts to persuade me in either direction?

Hey don't drag me into this. I wouldn't sell my vote if you paid me.
