In other McDonald's news.... Not only is the story amusing, but the headline includes the words "Hot Pickle Burn," which is, undeniably, a great name for a band.

Impossible. Every single pickle slice I've ever had from McDonald's was tepid at best.

What would the Mickey D's assembly line have had to do to get a pickle slice to be "scalding hot"? So far I can think of dropping it in with the french fry basket or sauteeing in in a skillet (not bloody likely).

Nice to see more frivolous lawsuits clogging up the court system.

"I've lost the services of my wife!" What is she, cattle? Ouch.

(BTW: What is this, food and drink day at MeFi?)

In my experience with McD's, you're lucky to get lukewarm food. Food hot enough to cause second degree burns, I think not! Get real lady...you should have had the coffee!

But do you see? That's why she was burned so bad! She was so sure she'd have a tepid pickle in her bun that she figured it'd be perfectly proper to put a piece of pickle on her chin.

If said slice was in fact scalding, that'd scare me too.

And apparently, with the permanent boo boo on her chin, she can't service her hubby. I profess total ignorance as to what that means, but hey, it doesn't sound good at all.

I say they have a case.

I want to see this on the People's Court or one of those shows. I have a feeling the ruling would go to McD's and this lady would be duly ridiculed, not just in a blurb in the papers, but on national TV.

Yes, I'd have to agree that the pickles inside mcdonalds burgers are never anywhere near hot. The burger's themselves are so mashed together, its hard to beleive a pickle "slipped out"

So what would make a pickle that hot? I'd say the quick wit of a couple of inbred fucks and a microwave.

But then again, I dont think i can think of any BETTER advertisement for McDonalds, becuase wastes of human debris like this, make me feel almost sorry for MickieD's.

wait! I've been burnt by McDonalds' burgers, when I was a meat-eater. Not that I'd consider legal action, I'd attribute it to myself, the ass, and sworn a blue streak. But just so you know, it can happen.

Poor hubby... Wifey can't "service" him... Her case will no doubt be thrown out, but he's really on to something there... My wife was in a car accident last year, broke her leg - made "servicing" pretty difficult... think I got a case?
