i've always liked Jimmy, but if you've heard any of his recent radio/TV appearances, he's starting to ramble and just get agressively weird. His great strength was always his ability to ground his work in reality, but every interview I've heard with him recently has involved a host saying "Wait a second...can you actually back up that assertion?", and him then attacking the host for doubting him on some point like "The Bushes had Obama assassinated!"

dand: Umm.... how do "PMCs" address the need for combat soldiers? Or medical personnel, for that matter?

There will b, at the very least, a special skills conscription. You can count on that. Any healthy professional in a relevant field up the age of 44 will be vulnerable. Get used to that idea.

And BTW -- why in the world are you (or anybody) so convinced there won't be a draft? Just because some politician said so? Please. Grow up.
