That makes me think of Nintendo-themed knitting patterns, like this pattern for a Mushroom hat.

Or you could always go with the Space Invaders scarf -- I've knit that one myself, and it turns out really cute.

makes me smile though - only a 19-year old would say "been quilting for quite a few years now" and mean three years. heh. when i read the statement i figured it would be like 10 years or so.

like the quilt. mario rocks. we pulled out the ancient nintendo for an 80's party a week ago (yeah, an atari would have been better, but nintendo was what we had on hand). i had to put it away though - i got sucked into mario again. it's such a simple game, and yet i burned so many hours on that damn thing...
