I always thought a future filled with robots would be kinda cool, but I find the Robowatch home security robot kinda creepy. It's expensive (50k euros), looks pretty obvious patrolling around, does have a slick futuristic controller, but finding the three stooges is about the best it can do. I suppose this would be like having your own googlebot around the house.

Is there a "port 80" version of this website for those of us behind firewalls? :-)

That company needs a better webmaster.

I look forward to the first story about one of those getting stolen.

So what are the batteries on this thing like? A patient burglar would just wait until it needed recharging in 2 hours.

German's aren't satisfied with those attack dogs they breed? I think a pack of Rottweilers are a lot more effective for $50,000.

It will look good patrolling my slick, modern evil base.

If you're really that paranoid, couldn't you just install security cameras and, you know, maybe identify the people robbing your home?

If it's the Stooges I'm setting the phaser on Vaporize. If it's the Marx brothers, maybe it could trolley out drinks.
