apparently the words are greg giraldo ("media" link includes this riff with different music) (album here but read reviews before buying) We're in one of the richest countries in the world, but the minimum wage is lower than it was thirty five years ago. There are homeless people everywhere. This homeless guy asked me for money the other day. I was about to give it to him and then I thought he was going to use it on drugs or alcohol. And then I thought, that's what I'm going to use it on. Why am I judging this poor bastard. People love to judge homeless guys. Like if you give them money they're just going to waste it. Well, he lives in a box, what do you want him to do? Save it up and buy a wall unit? Take a little run to the store for a throw rug and a CD rack? He's homeless. I walked behind this guy the other day. A homeless guy asked him for money. He looks right at the homeless guy and says why don't you go get a job you bum. People always say that to homeless guys like it is so easy. This homeless guy was wearing his underwear outside his pants. Outside his pants. I'm guessing his resume isn't all up to date. I'm predicting some problems during the interview process. I'm pretty sure even McDonalds has a "underwear goes inside the pants" policy. Not that they enforce it really strictly, but technically I'm sure it is on the books.

That was great. Thanks for the heads-up. Apparently by a band/unit called Lazyboy, composed of a former Aqua member and a producer. From everything I can Google, it seems like it's based in the Netherlands, which is odd considering how America oriented the video and song are.

I like Greg Giraldo a lot, he was the funniest guy on that "Tough Crowd" show (which was just cancelled a couple of weeks ago). Could always be counted on to say something dark and sarcastic. I think he may have a sitcom on the way, and I'm sure this will help. The song's kinda dumb though, just his comedy act set to a techno beat. But then again, the artist is called "Lazyboy" so what did I expect.

the "over the counter drugs" part was great. I try not to take an forms of medicine, even Ibuprofen (unless my head is just splitting wide open). I heard some statistic (which may or may not be true) that Americans take more medicines/pills than any other country but die the earliest. --shame

I believe that statistic Hands of Manos- the pharmie industry is as big of a travesty as the war machine. allopathy vs. homeopathy. I am a firm believer/practitioner of holistic healing, taking into consideration body, mind and spirit, acknowledging that all physical pain has an underlying emotional attachment that needs healing. blessings.

Wheat- You broke your leg for a reason. All your actions prior to were led by your emotions/intuition. Then, emotions were sparked by the break in your leg. You need to heal those emotions side by side with the physical healing. I condone a fusion of conventional medicine and holisitic healing. However, with alot of practice, you could breathe yourself out of your body and not feel the pain of the broken leg...so, fundamentally, it is not necessary to get that shot of novacaine, just that most of us do not have the necessary tools or knowlegde of the mind-body-spirit correlation to self-heal. So, for you Wheat, I'd stoke your hair, tell you everything's going to be okay, and shoot you up with the painreliever of your choice.

Isn't it easier to just hug a rainbow or something? Are you a Tibetian monk, or just a westerner with a schizo-affective disorder? I know, dude. Karma! I better knock it off. At least, the video played for me whereas it was only audio on the linked page. yeah, for some reason .asf links open for me in QCD, even though the .asf extension is supposed to open in WMP. i opened it OK from the belly of the beast (WMP), however. (of course, now it's getting *slammed*) fantastic video, and some great comedy riffs. there's people running through fields, or flying kites, or swimming in the ocean, like that's the greatest disease ever, how do you get that? that disease comes with a hot chick and puppy.
