I don't know, deafmute. When I lived in Japan, I eventually came to appreciate the heated toilet seat during cold winter nights, but it was just alarming the first time I sat down. I couldn't shake the feeling of "Someone else has been here before." It was like Shoeburyness to the nth degree.
