As opposed to someone else's Orkut members. This just seems so half-assed; if you're going to have a content site, do it properly, for crying out loud. This has no real attachment to Orkut at all - it could have been interesting to have a sea of submissions and let members rate them, for example. I don't think an editor-reviews-all situation works very well with the social networking model.
