Water Cooler Games is a blog devoted to "video games with an agenda. It is about games that go beyond entertainment."
They cover pretty much all you would expect from the recent furor over JFK Reloaded to Russian plans to create "patriotic video games in hopes to replace the popular DOOM".

Fishpong! Those wacky folks at the MIT Media Labs present a Fishpong, a new game designed to "encourage spontaneous social interaction among coffeehouse patrons." You sit down at your table and find the tabletop has electronic "fish" swimming around in it. Use your cup to bat them towards your friends. Provides whole minutes of fun!

Wow, they mentioned Socks Rocks The Hill! I'll forever hold a little bitterness in my heart that Nintendo's no-political-games policy stopped me from playing as Bill Clinton's cat in a quest (I seem to remember from all those years ago) to defuse the Rush Limb Bomb.
