All aboard, the sinking ship is leaving...

A metaphor for the next four years? Apologies in advance, as this post might be better kept afloat at Fark, but one can't help think this it is a more represenative sign. After a mishap like this can you blame the dems?

As a side note, it took some fine piloting to get the aircraft into the lake and away from harming anyone, let alone having the pilots survive.

What does Eelect George W. Bush mean, anyways?

Who cares about the crash -- I want to know how they managed to misspell the plane.

"There's a saying around here- these parts- and I think it's, it's...they say, you know, 'Don't change streams, uh, pilots mid-lake'"

Eelect me once, shame on you; e-e-elect me twice, um, won't get eelected again.

I had hoped that some monkeys had gotten ahold of the plane but nope, just some GOPheads.

Water landing or hit a building, seems like a no brainer to me.

It's a tribute to touch screen voting. eElect, you know, like eBay and eCommerce.

How can you misspell "elect" when you're painting a plane? And once noticed, why wouldn't you paint over the extra E? It's all very strange. Unless they were going for something like Deee-Lite . . . groove is in the heart.

The Extra E is for Extreme.

Maybe just a missing R?

R?! Damehex, you so crazy.

I'm going to have to contact some old coworkers at Tuna's on the edge of Maule Lake. I worked there until March of this year, and I bet that must have created quite a stir at the restaurant. We used to stop everything whenever the fish were feeding. I can't imagine how things must have been when a plane crash-landed just off the dock.

Fine piloting indeed. The only way this aircraft could have missed the buildings was for it to have reversed in slowly.

This bush, is it mammalian pudenda or arbor vitae?

I sincerely hope that the person who painted the plane is not the same person who piloted it. I would assume that literacy is a requirement when applying (and working towards) a pilot's license.

All the same, I'm glad no one was hurt because that would impact the humour factor. This is pretty damn funny.
