It's usually transliterated 'mazel' :) And a flash warning is usually suggested :)

Funny link tho.

The jews who control international banking are better in their fields than the people responsible for this, right? Otherwise I can't figure out how they did it.

(I was trying to decide whether this had any redeeming qualities, and then there was a Michael Jackson joke. Then I realized that the primitive quality was due to laziness.)

While we're on the topic of Internet Jewish humor (or, as it used to be called back in the day when I was a librarian: Jews (United States)--Internet. Anecdotes, facetiae, satire), does anyone happen to remember the URL for the website that purported to be the "real Protocols of the Elders of Zion"?

It's an Oukast song, right?

It reminded me of this:

And made me laugh just as hard.

Thanks!

Sigh. Thought I heard it before. Jews used to be the best songwriters. George Gershwin. Jerome Kern. Irving Berlin. Harold Arlen. What happened?

It's a cute, jokey parody for Hanukkah--don't you remember Sandler's "Go tell Monica, it's time for Hanukkah"? jeez.

Sidhedevil, not trying to be all presumptious and self-linky here, but did you mean my blog?
posted by Asparagirl at 10:09 AM on December 8, 2004

Not your lovely blog, Asparagirl.

It was orangish, and it had a mock-agenda, a calendar, editorials, etc.
posted by Sidhedevil at 11:00 AM on December 8, 2004

Oh! Then you probably mean International Jewish Conspiracy, which was linked above by ook.

BTW, I forgot to tell you (back in that last Jewishy MeFi thread, when we were all talking about T-shirts) that I love that "erev Christmas" comment from your mother-in-law. :-)

YAY! I was a fool not to click on ook's link. I have been looking for that for weeks now.

it was rumored that Andre of Outkast was a Black Hebrew Israelite, but he put those rumours to bed a long time ago ("Is he in a cult? Is he on drugs? Is he gay?).

More info on the Black Hebrew Israelites here.
