The rock-critic "community" Jack Saturn and Jack Saturn manqués, ahoy! A young fella runs an entire site, Popped, dedicated to the art of rock criticism. And despite being from Toronto, he's not so prissy as to pretend he isn't a fan. Because those are the worst rock critics. If rock even matters anymore.
the site looks like it isn't being updated anymore, or am i just missing something?

Simple, chaz: if you go back over the four posts mr joke/lark (haw haw-- see, it's a subtle alias!) has made, you'll see he's in some sort of multivariate timewarp. Or something. More wine! That'll do 'er.

Just the other day, I was trying to get a Monday Lunch table at Spago, and the maitre d'hotel put me on hold while he ran my url through the Blogger search function, to see how many "A List" blogs had linked to me in the past 24hours.
Imagine how humilated I was when I hung up the phone, and turned to my lunch companions, Muffy, Buffy, and Binky, and had to say, "Girls, I am afraid the only decent lunch table I could get was at Taco Bell, again....and even they said they couldn't keep seating us if we didn't start blogging more stories about N'Sync and Britney!
I could just DIE!

This is giving me bad memories of getting my Digital Divas card revoked.
