"he is currently facing no criminal charges"

I think we all understand where he was coming from? :)

It's a sad comment on our society when the only way to get rid of groups like 'N Sync is by wiping them out. I'm not condoning what the teen wanted to do and obviously he's got some explaining to do but once he's told his side of the story, I'm sure there'll be blame enough on all sides.

Okay a couple points here, he was planning on shooting the guy at the gunstore. And this quote best sums it up:

The teen’s animosity toward the group was apparently motivated because "the group gets all the good girls," the detective said.

Okay buddy, girls are turned off by homocidal maniacs so lets work on that first. Second, they can only have so many girls per day and most of them are gay. Third, your real competition is the dude in your Algebra class who's failing but is getting really good at the guitar parts in most limp bizcuit songs. He'll be the one doing drugs and sleeping with the hot slutty girls strolling about your school.

Either this kid needs therapy or a good drug connection and a few guitar lessons. God, I should be a fucking therapist.

I think it's obvious who's behind this......Damn you, Meaty Cheesy Boys. Damn you to hell!

Wow, skallas, ever thought of becoming the Chancellor of Education in New York City? You'd clean up.

From Karen ..What this kid doesn't understand is: killing them would martyrize them and would never allow them to leave our society. Instead, he should wait until die their natural boy-band death.

Good God. As soon as the Cobain/TuPac/Selena t-shirts seemed to have died down a bit.... I couldnt stand an N*Sync memorial shirt.

You don't all think that "the plan" was just a joke?

Hell, I've done much less appropriate things as jokes...

I take the killing of annoying famous people very seriously, Ptrin.

Less talk, more action! I'm after that little CocaCola girl next.

There's a Coca-Cola girl now? Man, if that's the case, and its not satire, they oughta fire their ad agency.

Hey, like my Lord and Savior Isaac Asimov once wrote:

Oops, it's the Pepsi Girl. My bad. Their bad. We all lose!

damn. it's not like the world would be any worse without them and their ilk around.

I'll personally help you take out that damn Pepsi Girl.....

I liked her as Chrissy, the Independent Film Channel spokesdirector. Man, those ads were brilliant!

That was before she embraced the dark side and started shilling for cola, of course.

"I'll personally help you take out that damn Pepsi Girl"

...and so it begins. I always knew my campaign for brutality and unimaginable atrocities would start here, on this very site...

Mark the day! Submit to the Murder Generation!

Killing N'Sync is a start, but if you don't kill all of these pop cultural dimwits, than what's the point?
posted by Mr. skullhead at 4:09 PM on October 20, 2000

Oh god, Mr. skullhead, when you're talking about the slow, brutal, butchering of N'Sync do you really need a point? The idea should be a call to action in itself.

aramaic, I'd like to join your movement now. If it means offing the pepsi girl, then by all means, I'm for it.

Well, I guess the board's name's gonna have to change to AramaicFilter now. Or MetaAramaic? :-)
