A Punk Rock Flyer Archive 1982-1984. "This site contains an archive of flyers for mostly hardcore punk gigs from the era 1982 to 1984 that took place in Tucson Arizona, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. Historical narrative and observations are included as well as stickers, various handbills, and other curiosities from the same era."

I could probably hit Mad Gardens (its still there) with a rock on two bounces from where I work. I too recall the (prime) Arizona punk scene of the early to mid-eighties, and the Puppets were the shit. I recall seeing them often at the now long gone Sun Club out Tempe way.

Great link! On a somewhat related note, there's an amazing new coffee table art book called The Art of Modern Rock that has an incredible collection of rock poster art. I got it a few weeks ago and it's just sucked me in. There isn't a lot of Pettibon/punk art in there, but if you like that you'll love this book.
