Argh, I forgot to watch Letterman vs. Bush last night. (I still don't have my TiVo.)

Dave asked him why the candidates were not stressing on alternative fuels, W said the technology is far behind.

Dave asked him about death penalty. W remembered the name of the person who had asked him the question during the debate.

Dave asked him about Yemen, W said "They will not what I will do to them." Dave asked what it meant. W had that same glow that he had during the second debate when he talked about death penalty.

>"They will not what I will do to them."

Sounds like tough talk. If I were Yemeni, I'd be quaking with fear.

the only thing more frightening than bush's comments were the whoops and hollers of approval from the audience that greeted anything along the lines of "let's kill the bastards"... regardless of whether such poor bastards were american or otherwise... scary. truly scary.

Niccola Six: agreed. Other than that, Bush's appearance felt just as contrived as Gore's appearance on the show.

I worked with a Yemeni native at my last job. I'm sure he would agree with me that all Yemenis should be punished by putting them on the Texas death row.
