Mars Express Image BrowserThe European Space Agency's Mars Express site has been linked before, but this neat little flash globe lets you rotate the planet yourself and select various viewpoints for more detailed pictures of the surface. Some of the pictures are stunning, others just don't look real.

The little spinning mars is kind of lame, I was expecting it to do something more than just stop and pop up an image.. . BUT the images on the otherhand! WOW. They look like plaster. I think they need to work on their fakery.

I always have a problem looking at images of Mars - I know a lot of the the features are depressions, but to me everything looks like it's raised rather than sunken. Hence, canals look like walls. What's wrong with my eyes?
