oops, hit post too soon. I have a question, I've seen people send out warnings/complaints against PDF's...I'm just inquiring, but what is the concern with PDF? Is it because it launches another window? I'm just curious

I have a question, I've seen people send out warnings/complaints against PDF's...I'm just inquiring, but what is the concern with PDF? It's just an obnoxious format for viewing on screen. It has the disadvantages of print (complete and total immutability) with none of the advantages (ability to read it in the bathroom). My eyesight is somewhat poor, so I like to enlarge on-screen text to a comfortable size, but PDF doesn't let me do that without having to scroll constantly from side to side.
