Welcome gminks. Just a little heads-up... if anyone jumps on you for announcing it's your first post, please ignore them. It's nerve-wracking the first time you post, and IMO anyone who attacks you for introducing yourself is being a jerk. Don't take it personally. posted by miss lynnster at 5:07 PM on January 5, 2005
It made me laugh. posted by tapeguy at 5:10 PM on January 5, 2005
What is the part after "Potter" saying? "Weasley"?
Also, eventually Snape ends up in a dress. posted by Four Flavors at 5:24 PM on January 5, 2005
Potter, Potter, Potter, Potter,Potter, Potter, Potter, Potter
"Weasley, Weasley".....
So....funny.....
This is so going on TLC. posted by bkdelong at 5:30 PM on January 5, 2005
Great job on the first post! posted by Plinko at 5:30 PM on January 5, 2005
If you watch it for a while, Harry's wand turns into a glowstick. I'm not sure what's with Snape in the green nightgown, though. posted by yarmond at 5:32 PM on January 5, 2005
hahaaah, cute. great post.
yarmond: it's a reference to a scene in the 3rd book. posted by cheaily at 5:47 PM on January 5, 2005

In case of posting, please take note of the "SHIFT" key located at the lower-right and lower-left corners of your keyboard. These letters make posts significantly easier to read and save all of us from gnashing our teeths at the lowering standards of the English language.
So, I watched this until somebody's clothes changed, and the magic wand turned into a glow-stick. One time I saw the ever-slightest of blips, and I took this as a cue that the movie was looping. You really could have fooled me, though. I don't get it. posted by odinsdream at 6:40 PM on January 5, 2005

The music track to this one is much improved over the original badger, at least in how long I'm willing to listen to it. It's been looping in the background and I still like it -- and you can, I think, time Snape's green dress by the music. Good find :) posted by crysflame at 8:00 PM on January 5, 2005
Chealily - sorry for the uneeded snarkism. Apologies all around for phrasing it in a snarky way. Congrats on a first FPP that was cool, and let's all work on using capital letters?
Welcome, gminks. I hate Potter, Potter, Potter almost as much as I hate Badger, Badger, Badger. Well done! posted by Doohickie at 9:47 PM on January 5, 2005
<dissent>Ugh, what's up with everyone tonight? This one is awful. I like BadgerBadger, and even laughed at SantaBadger, but PotterPotter is just... lame...</dissent> posted by Tubes at 11:19 PM on January 5, 2005

Well, its ok, but the Quidditch pitch is all wrong. Everyone knows that a proper Quidditch pitch has three goal posts at each end. Moreover Quidditch is played on an oval field with a single circular marking in the middle, not yard lines like a football field.
Seriously, its one of the niftier badgers spinoffs I've seen. posted by sotonohito at 3:55 AM on January 6, 2005
thedevildancedlightly: that's at least the fourth time you've linked to Harvard Sucks since December 22nd. Is that your own site or are you just trying to boost its traffic? (See other links here, here, and here.) posted by trey at 7:30 AM on January 6, 2005
By the way, what's the big deal with not using capital letters? Does it actually make posts easier to read....? or are you just moaning for the sake of moaning? posted by knapah at 8:35 AM on January 6, 2005
I'd just like to point out that the music niftily integrates the movie theme. posted by kevspace at 11:46 AM on January 6, 2005
