Very cool, thanks. Somehow reminds me of this guy's great "3D-display cube" project. posted by fatllama at 10:25 PM on January 9, 2005
Very neat!!
I want one!! Kinda like a Lava-lamp but with bubble patterns...
Except that in the video, the bubble maker seems loud...
Chunka-chunka-chunka....
Doesn't seem like I could just zone out to it after a few good hits of Northern Lights #1... the noise is too distracting...
Good concept, refined and smaller, and it's a million dollar idea. posted by Balisong at 11:11 PM on January 9, 2005
Sweet. The idea of having changing 3d artwork is quite modern. Only a small handfull people have moving art work on display at home (not including the TV).
The use of light and water can be very hypnotic. posted by lightweight at 12:07 AM on January 10, 2005

There's a museum somewhere -- I want to say the St. Paul Museum of Science -- that has a sculpture in the lobby consisting of giant clear acrylic pipes. Bubbles are released into the pipes in various patterns by a computer. The effect is a giant upward-scrolling dot matrix. It's pretty cool. posted by srt19170 at 11:56 AM on January 10, 2005
