Yet another del.icio.us ? "One of the main purposes of social bookmarking systems is allowing people to see what other people are bookmarking. I frequently find things that people are linking to very interesting, and thought it would be nice to slap together a system that could tell me, automatically, what lots of other people have just bookmarked. Thus, oishii was born".

Nah not another del.icio.us, "Oishii is kind of a del.icio.us mini-zeitgeist. oishii! polls the del.icio.us front page every 15 minutes, and returns all sites bookmarked by at least 30 people"

Del.icio.us has a popular links page with better metadata. That page has its own RSS feed. So Oishii is a weaker version of one Del.icio.us feature, albeit with a sexier design. It's more a personal project than a tool for the public. Note that it's run by a tiny portal. 10 points for style, Trillian, but minus a couple million for good thinking.

I do, however, have my own online bookmark manager: Scuttle. It isn't that long up, but it has most of the features you'd expect from one of these things and a few -- like privacy settings and watch lists -- that others don't currently have.

I'm a big fan of Furl myself, primarily for the the "Save a Copy of Page" feature. To my knowledge, no other social bookmarking service offers this feature.
