Ok No WMD, let' stop searching for them. White House press secretary Scott McClellan said there no longer is an active search for weapons and the administration does not hold out hopes that any weapons will be found.

Definitely Wednesday's news. Definitely. Please give us a fresh perspective that we can't find on CNN at 6.

I'm pretty sure we can all agree, the blame lies with Saddam Hussein. It's that bastard's fault for not having the weapons of mass destruction and it his fault for divulging that fact in an extensive report to the United Nations that the USA demanded and that the USA censored before the UN received it. Yep, it's all Saddam Hussein's fault.

INTERVIEWER
Do you think that the government is winning the battle against terrorists?

HELPMANN
On yes. Our morale is much higher than theirs, we're fielding all their strokes, running a lot of them out, and pretty consistently knocking them for six. I'd say they're nearly out of the game.

INTERVIEWER
But the bombing campaign is now in its thirteenth year ...

HELPMANN
Beginner's luck.

It seems the administration was the last to realize it . . . that's always reassuring.

That was uncalled for, elpapacito.

I'm tempted to snark a little, but... nah, it's not worth it.
