Just.. Awwww.

Although that cat looks a mite uncomfortable being monkeyhandled in the last pic.

But still... Awwwww

There's something sublime about the post titles:

- Tiger and piglets
- Kitten and a puppy
- Kitten and a hedgehog
- Guinea pig and a dog
- Ducks and a kitten
- Dog and a horse

I think i'm going to use one of those instead of a string of curse-words.

*steps on Lego blocks in bare feet*
"Dog and a horse!!!"

That's not a mouse. That's a rat. Very cute regardless.

I should get some pics of my rats with my SO's cats, but the cats are terrified of the rats. The rats are pretty non-plussed about the cats, though.

Why do I find this so oddly excellent?

Is it the sparseness? The almost haiku like presentation? Is it the monkey yoking up the cat? Why are animals so funny?

I love it? Yes!

Awww indeed. : )

My dog cuddles up with his toys like the cat and toy chick pic.

And the dog and horse pic reminds me of when I went to visit my grandparents shortly after I got Barney. There's a stable in their neighborhood, and I was walking Barney near there. I got to talking to a guy who was there while Barney was doing his thing, and it turned out that his granddaughter had a horse in that stable who was also named Barney. Of course I had to take Barney the dog to meet Barney the horse! I held my dog up and the two sniffed each other. It was very cute. : )

These are cute. Especially the monkeys.

Note to loquacious: a few years ago, someone corrected my use of nonplussed, and I've been grateful ever since, so I thought I'd do the same for you, and get to sound like a smarty-pants in the baragain. Though it seems as if it should mean "blase and unruffled," it actually means "confused and at a loss for words."

That's what I hate about rats -- throw a curve ball at them, and they clam up. Come on, rats -- spit it out.

The "poorly" hedgehog and the squirrel is divine, as is the cat holding a stuffed animal. And the tiger's expression as it sleeps is wonderful; looks like any domestic cat, really.

Although I have to agree that some of these probably weren't all that happy in the next frame. The dog and horse one in particular - I think the dog started yapping and running away about 1 second later.

dear livii,

My mother owns a miniature dachshund. This miniscule animal likes to go bark at the horse that lives in the field next door. Or, she did. One day the horse, across the field, looked up and came at the poor doggie at a gallop. The dog, terrified, remained where she was. The horse slowed as it approached until it came to a full stop just in front of the still petrified dog. Then the horse nudged the miniature dachshund quite gently with its nose. The dog pissed everywhere and yelped its way under the deck.
