That first link looks like it comes from that "Zinger Generator" software that sitcom writers use. Oh, same thing with the third link.

Isn't this an old, old email thread that's been tossed on a web page?

I can remember reading this years ago. Still funny though.

My first post on mefi, sorry if it's old. It started spiking on del.icio.us and Furl yesterday. I passed it around to the web-savvy folks here at work, who hadn't seen it, and figured it might be ok. My apologies if it's ancient, it feels ancient, but at the same time, I always need a few zingers in my back pocket for my stapler-hoarding cubemates.

The content is old, but you don't have to apologize for that--there are still some old goodies out there that haven't been FPP'd.

The lists could be a lot bigger, though--shame they're not open to addition.

It was good, djdrue. Will definitely come in handy on my end.

MetaFilter: This is all covered in Knuth, and we don't have time to go over it again.

I've said many of these things. No wonder I'm treated like the wart on the horse's ass around the office.

Oh well.

Sounds like someone has a case of the "Mondays!"

Ha ha ha! Oh... Sorry...
