Still downloading after about 10 minutes. Wow, it's just like the days of 14.4k

Actually, I clocked the download at 1.8 KBps, which works out EXACTLY to 14.4 Kbps. Whee!

3.5 KBps! I feel like a racecar!

Sorry about the speeds lads, it downloaded within 30 seconds for me. Still you seem to be having fun with the maths and the complaining.

Maybe try another of the links from google. I do think it is worth the wait though.

I'm not complaining. I'm just amused. And I'm letting it download, no problems there. It's not like I have to pay by the minute or anything. As long as it's done before I shut the computer down for the night, it's fine by me.

Sorry, wasn't trying to be a pain in the side. It just struck me as unusual in our newly broadband world.

don't worry about it. As you will hear in the song nothing in Ireland runs efficiently......

Ahhh the Irish digs have started already :D Very funny from what I've heard download so far over the last 10 mins. Shame there's no drawley Dido parody to go with it.

I understood about half of it, but I laughed anyway. thanks for the link.
by the way, why an extremely pissed-off man speaking in a thick Irish accent is almost by definition always funny?

matteo
I toyed with the idea of explaining how our bus service, banks, phone companies, roads network, government, young people etc were regarded and decided against it as it would just take too much out of me.......still glad it wasnt a waste of your time.

A friend from Cork sent me this a while ago and I nearly piss myself every time I hear it. The performer's name is Pat Shortt -- he was the weird village idiot-type guy on Father Ted
