Shine On: The House of Love return (for better or worse).

With new albums from The Wedding Present, and House of Love and the reunion-fest (Bauhaus, Cocteau Twins, Gang of Four, NIN) formerly known as Coachella, are there any bands left (besides the obvious moz/marr)?

Sh-sh-sh-shine on indeed! Thanks for the news -- I had no idea. I saw them live in '89 and they were magnificent.

As a Paul Weller fanatic, I am obliged to say that the Jam have never reunited; given Weller's refusal to speak to his former bandmates since he broke up the band in '82, it's a pretty safe bet to say they never will.

Well, even though there was Burning Airlines and now Channels, I really wish I could've seen Jawbox.

Sweet - I love the House of Love - If the topic is late 80's Brit-Pop, perhaps the Close Lobsters next?

The Close Lobsters! Now that would be something to smile about. Personally, though, I'm still waiting for a good second Stone Roses LP.

Anyway, I wonder if the House of Love will release a third self-titled LP on this go around.

thomcatspike, this "christine" now has that song in her head (why must my name rhyme with "pristine"?)
