This is awesome. So can we deathmatch or what?

I would host, but I can't figure out a way to type in an IP to join. Maybe that's not a up yet? (Sadly, CTF doesn't work yet either.)

Nice find Crunchland. I had some contoller weirdness when playing but still, this is pretty amazing. If anyone hosts a server, please let me know.

Check out the console commands (hit ~). There is a god mode (type "god") or you can toggle the gravity ("gravity 10"; 950 is the default).

Best of all: type "vidtex play" and then go to the very top level and look in the corners. That's frikkin' sweet.

More fun: type "fov 150" to induce nausea.

Couldn't find any command to join servers though.

Did I forget to mention that there is a level editor built in? Type "editor".

Freakin Awesome!!

Why can't there be more games like this for free?
Even PVP..

Sadly, as soon as the level loads, it locks up in both IE and Firefox for me.

It seem to crash after a few minutes of play in IE. Still, an amazing use of Shockwave and it's more engaging than a lot of store-bought FPS games. Nice find!

No one worked out how to make a server yet?

Has anybody figured out how to make the mouse work yet (running on Safari.. OS X)? Other than that, awsome use of shockwave.

It works for me, running Windows XP and both IE and Firefox -- though I think operator malfunction might lead you to believe it doesn't with me. (I've never been too good at using the mouse for fps. Since the days of Quake, I've been strictly a keyboard l00zer.)

Go up to the big switch on the third story and press E. Then move a bit to the right and press E again so that the LED readout changes from 0 to 1. Then look at the big screen. And chuckle. And hunt.

Should be a warning that this is a *huge* tax on bandwidth/cpu resources...still pretty fun tho.

I'm curious about the "Enhancer" that this thing attempts to load - I already have Shockwave.
posted by FormlessOne at 1:45 PM on March 7, 2005

Enhancer is a shockwave pluggin from AndradeArts that adds a host of new features including real mouse control, joypad support, proper alerts, popup menus and a whole host of other extra features for shockwave games. miniclip

Argh! It went away! Does anybody have inside info about this project?

I'm betting they got hosed by the bandwidth police.

Apparently, the entire site is offline.
