It might be my mood, but I really got attached to this li'l guy. I was fully invested in the challenge by Attempt 15, and surprised it finished the way it did. I hope he gets it sorted out, I'm staying tuned. Thanks, P_G, sweet.

Definitely 8.

Yeah, 8 was kind of amusing. The rest were quite lackluster.

I thought attempt 5 was hilarious.

I think this genre, the well-animated-stick-figure-getting-maimed cartoon, has exhausted itself. I think this because while I would've found this funny a couple years ago, it now leaves me dead inside. Dead.

This reminds me of Lewis Trondheim's comic book MisterO, which has the very same premise but which is much, much funnier.

agreed, 8 was pretty good; but i also like 3 - the spurting blood is a nice added touch. i too was really rooting for the little grey man, but that's life i guess...

what's this guy's problem?
as far as I can tell, the shade of green seems to be exactly the same on both sides...

Beep! Beep! The post reminded of Wile E. Coyote. Some sound effects would really add to it.

I am greatly bothered by Attempt 6. How did he get the rope across to the otherside without getting over to the other side himself? Did he attempt something like Attempt 11 to get the rope across? If so if he tried that twice, why did he not try the jet pack once more but shut the engine off properly? Furthermore his choice of grappling hook seems ill thought out. If it did not work in Attempt 3, why did he use the same for 11? Did he think a rope would bring him a greater chance of success? I would assume he used the same brand as in 6, as he did in 11, simply a different color. As well, in Attempt 12: why did the helium tank explode? Was it infact, a methane or perhaps hydrogen tank? Due to the fact that balloons float yet the canister exploded in a most fiery way, I suspect it would be a hydrogen tank. A most flawed choice of gas for balloons. In addition, the weather conditions of Attempt 13 are highly suspect, and one would wonder why he did not give up for the day due to the winds, the storm that followed in Attempt 14 were not conducive to gap crossing.
But most importantly, I am perplexed by the mechanics in the catapult of Attempt 15. The skein winches seems completely missing. And the physics of the arc were most perplexing, perhaps the weather conditions were still as they were in Attempt 13.

twelvetwo - there's this site called monster.com, you should check it out. I'd hyperlink it, but it seems as though you've got the time to type it in.
