Super Cooper

Davie Cooper was one of Scotland's greatest ever players. Today sees two of his former clubs Rangers and Motherwell battle it out in a cup final, or Coop final as it has been called. A fitting tribute if ever there was one.

Does this have something to do with soccer?

Except the standard of play is pretty dire in Scotland. I'm surprised that they still bother playing games there these days...

Is that the same Davie Cooper who left Rangers when they signed a Catholic (Mo Johnson)? Rangers are at last trying to do something about their sectarian problem.

Bobbyelliott -

Nice way to show respect on the anniversary of someone's death. To my knowledge, Cooper's departure and Johnson's signing weren't related.

Have you got any links to back up this assertion?

Won't get into mud slinging - too busy savouring a lovely 5-1 victory. Roll on the league title...
